Wanna a drink of water

Here's a unique drinking fountain in California Adventure. I wouldn't mind having one in my back yard. How bout you?

What a beautiful night!

On Tuesday night, I took a "short trip" to Disneyland and met up for a little bit with Nora and Papa Tom. This is the two of them waiting in line to see the "World of Color" show. Don't they look happy? It was a fun night!

"What's This?"

I thought I'd taken some photos of the "World of Color" that we saw in the sky over Disneyland on Monday, but all I have are videos! Boohoo! So I'll have to find something else to post a blog about from our trip. Hmmm... let's see. I'll play a game instead!

Can you identify the items in the following photos and where they might be in Disneyland or in California Adventure?

A.

B.

C.

D.

E.

F.

G.

Answers:

A. A laser identification "thingy" by a door in the "Day One" exhibit on Main Street.

My "Minnie" Post

Well maybe not so mini. At first I thought it wouldn't be very "Minnie" either because I forgot I had a picture of her from our visit to Disneyland/California Adventure yesterday. Here she is all ready for her next flight!

These pictures a bit mixed up since I've kind of forgotten how to post a blog!
Snow White's grotto was nice and clean and...white!
I'm joining in on the mailbox scavenger hunt! Kind of obvious where it is, huh?

Not sure what kind of bloom this is, but it caught my eye near the castle.

So happy to see water again in the "Rivers of America"!
No water in "Splash Mountain" however! haha

Watch out! One of these "ghosts" may follow you home!

Beautiful Sleeping Beauty castle...and a planet in the sky. (Or was that a lighted balloon that got away?)
The sibs and I got creative on our way back to our car and took the side stairs. This was the first floor of the parking garage.

This is the floor we were parked on, 4 floors up. Our parking area reminded us of the beginning of a Monkees song.
The "Three Quonseteers" on our way into the park at the beginning of the day!
A new "ride" at California Adventure! Swimming through the World of Color! haha
One of our favorite places to rest in the Magic Kingdom, "Pixie Hollow". Check out the jumping water! We needed a rest after watching "Captain EO"! "Ow!"

The Magic of a Rainy Day in January

Are we sure we want to do this?

Well at least we're not the only crazy ones.

An eerie empty Mainstreet.

The sun always shines on the Castle though.

Pink rain protection!

An empty queue for Space Mountain.

You don't get to see that often.

So few people in line we got a rocket all to ourselves!

We also got dried off from the speed. ;)

Conquering the Matterhorn.

Brrrrrrrr!

Even with this empty of a Fantasyland we still had a 15-20min wait for Peter Pan.

Zocalos.

A pretty place to get some yummy mexican food and hide out from the rain while sitting under heaters. :)

Majestic Matterhorn

Over to Disney's California Adventure

To watch the Aladdin Show.

Another great place to sit out of the rain and warm up for a while.

Grizzly Bear Mountain roaring goodnight to the sun.

Pretty Lighting.

The rain had stopped by this time, but then the wind kicked up.

Brrrrr!

Back to Disneyland

To pick up some of the day's fresh made candy.

And stumble upon their rainy day parade.

Which consisted of two double decker buses filled with Disney characters. hehe

I'm so glad I brought a change of pants and socks so I didn't have to be wet and cold on the way home.
